'Gold Standard (also known as the Gold Kart 'in Europe), is an unlockable kart piece found in Mario Kart 7.
Summary
There are not much details for this kart. Gold Standard is just a golden version of Standard and is made of pure gold. It has incredibly great speed, and it is considered to be one of the highest ranked kart in the game. The usage of the Gold Glider and Gold Wheels makes it have really high stats.
This kart can be unlocked if twenty thousand coins are obtained in the game or if ten thousand VR is collected by racing via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
