Plot[]
The game revolves around Reika Rekkenji, a cyborg girl with the ability to manipulate debris. She can create weapons, solve puzzles, destroy enemies, and form paths with the debris. The world she is in has been invaded by an evil robot army called the "Ajeets".
Development[]
The game was developed as part of Game Freak's "Gear Project" initiative. Masayuki Onoue, the game's director, described working on Giga Wrecker Alt. as a "paradigm shift" and that it has helped him be more creative.[3]
