The Ghost Ship is a spectral pirate ship that appears around certain islands on the Great Sea at night, depending on the phase of the moon. Link can only board the ship if he has the Ghost Ship Chart, which he can acquire at Diamond Steppe Island (A6). If he tries to board the ship without it, the vessel disappears as soon as he gets close.
It can be found at the following islands: Crescent Moon Island ((E1) full moon), Diamond Steppe Island ((A6) waning gibbous), Bomb Island ((F5) third quarter), Spectacle Island ((C2) waning crescent), Five-Star Isles ((G7) waxing crescent), Greatfish Isle ((B4) waxing gibbous), and Star Belt Archipelago ((G3) first quarter).
Upon entering the ship, Link has to fight a couple of Poes and a Wizzrobe, and if the Wizzrobe summons any enemies, they must be dealt with, too. Once all the baddies are taken care of, Link can acquire the Triforce Chart (in The Wind Waker HD, a Triforce Shard is found on the ship), after which, a creepy scream is heard; Link then reawakens aboard his boat in broad daylight, and the Ghost Ship stops appearing at night.
