Ghondor is a character in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and the Future Redeemed DLC. He is the grandfather of Matthew and Na'el and a resident of the first City.

Ghondor as a newborn.
Ghondor was born to an incarnation of Noah and Mio. Sometime after his birth, Mio, the older of the two, died of natural causes when she reached the end of her terms. Not long after, Noah led Ghondor to a forest, where he informed him that he was also about to pass. After Noah's death, he accepted an offer from Z to become Moebius alongside Mio, becoming N and M.
Ghondor grew older and had a child and two grandchildren, Matthew and Na'el. Following the death of their parents, Ghondor raised the siblings in thr City, training them in fighting. One day, while Matthew was away, Ghondor discovered that N was destroying the City, needing Embers to resurrect Mio as M. He was opposed by Na'el, now possessed by Alpha, who hoped to destroy Aionios and save only the City citizens. The two battled, and N prepared to kill Na'el, only to be blocked by Ghondor. At this moment, Matthew returned and discovered his grandfather being killed by N. Before dying, Ghondor tells N that Mio would want him to let go of his regrets and tells Matthew the future is in his hands.
