Gerudo Valley is a location featured in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. As its name implies, the area is inhabited by the Gerudo race. The Gerudo's Fortress is likewise stationed here as well. When Link first arrives here, he is restricted to the east side of the area, as a Gerudo stands guard in front of a gate at the opposite end of the bridge; in addition, a pair of Gerudo patrol the area past the gate. However, Link can use a Cucco to glide over to a ledge where a crate containing a Piece of Heart On a platform next to the river below, Link can unearth a Gold Skulltula in a patch of soft soil next to a lone Gerudo and a cow, and also collect another Piece of Heart in an elevated alcove behind the northern waterfall by climbing the ladder.
In the future, the bridge across the valley has been demolished, though he can eventually rescue a band of Carpenters who were kidnapped by the Gerudo who'll repair it. He can also use his Hookshot or Epona to cross it.
