The Final Fantasy III party as Geomancers.
The Geomancer (風水士 Fuusuishi lit. Geomancer) is a playable job class in the Final Fantasy series. They are able to control elements of nature, but are limited to the terrain they are currently standing on.
The only character in the series that could be considered a Geomancer is Mog of Final Fantasy VI, but he could just as easily be classified as a Dancer. In Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI, geomancy abilities depended on which background is used in the battle. It is a job exclusive to the new Gria race in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, but having a tactical field instead of a single background, they may use as many geomancy techniques as there are different terrain types on the field.
