Gauntlet is a video game published by Tengen and released in July 1988. It was the second of three licensed Tengen games for the NES.
Game Play
Gauntlet can be played by one or two players. There are four heroes to select from: Thor the Warrior, Merlin the Wizard, Thyra the Valkyrie, or Qeustor the Elf:
Thor: a buffed man with a battle ax. He is wearing leather boots and loin cloth.
Defense: 5
Attack: 3
Magic: 2
Speed: 3
Questor: wears a green tunic and a quiver, resembling Robin Hood.
Defense: 2
Attack: 1
Magic: 3
Speed: 5
Merlin: A sorcerer sporting blue hair and a light gold rode.
