GameSpot is a videogame website that features news, reviews, previews and more. It was launched on May 1, 1996 and was created by Pete Deemer, Vince Broady and Jon Epstein. At the beginning, it focused mainly on PC games, but since 1998 it features all major platforms and handhelds. Since they are a major press site, they often get exclusive news and information.
