GT Pro Series is a launch game for the Wii that was developed by MTO and published by Ubisoft.
Gameplay[]
It features over 80 Japanese cars, and will have 6 different game modes. It will be controlled either by holding the Wii remote sideways, and move like a steering wheel, or you can use the accessory that comes with a game - A steering wheel that you put your Wii Remote into. The following buttons on the Wiimote for driving are as follows: 2 for Acceleration, 1 for braking/reversing, A for horn, B for rear facing camera, left/right on D-pad (horizontal controller) for 'side brakes', up/down (horizontal controller) for changing gears (when set to manual controls), + for pausing. When not in the menus, 2 to select, 1 for back, and D-pad to maneuver through the menus

Trivia[]
• There are only 2 known undrivable vehicles in the game. One is a blue Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 with rooftop red-blue lights and a rear spoiler. It is likely that this would be a safety car but there is no indication that it would have been featured any more in the game. The other is the Toyota HiMedic ambulance (XH-10 model). Both can been seen in the pits on the 3 circuit tracks.
• GT Pro Series was released at the launch of the Nintendo Wii and is a rerelease/port of GT Cube but with some small uodates including support for 16:9 and 4:3
• Highest known score in the Drift Combo mode is 126 by 'VeilsideSkylineR34'. The video was uploaded on the 26th December, 2007. [1]
• The game has a small speedrunning scene with the official world record for the Beginners Class being 22:47. 067 held by ViperUK (formerly Thebpg13). The individual track have had many records across all of them with the closest said to perfect being Complex Speedway with a claimed flap time of 24.750 and 3lap time of 1:19.002 by YoloMenace001 but did not upload video proof of the time but the official record is a flap time of 25.278 and 3lap time of 1:20.091 also held by YoloMenace001. There has only been 2 instances that Yolo has not 'held' the record. These being up until this year since 2010/12 when 2 people on an online forum claimed times of 2:57 and 2:50 respecfively on Tbeilling Harbour, and one instance when a recordless Skytown Highway had a time of 3:27 done by Jaypin88 until a much faster time was performed again by YoloMenace001 just 30 minutes later. Jaypin88 has deleted/removed the video of the run and deleted the run from speedrun.com however it is counted as a legitimate record.
