Fuzzies refer to two types of Mario enemies; a white, fluffy enemy from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and a typically black-furred enemy that made its first appearance in Super Mario World, but mostly known for being an enemy in the Paper Mario series.

Some have the ability to replicate themselves.

Main Series

In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Fuzzies made their reappearance in the game. They are found only in World 7 and World 9. One new subspecies is a Mega Fuzzy.

Fuzzies also reappeared in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are found only in Honeybloom Galaxy and Flipsville Galaxy. In Flipsville Galaxy, a character can only defeat it with a Spin Drill. They look similar to the one in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but they will leave black smoke clouds. A similar species of it is the Slurple, as it drains similar to the Fuzzy.

In 3D Land, the Fuzzies travel across tightropes in a few levels and are invincible except to a Star.

Fuzzies appear in New Super Mario Bros. U and the expansion New Super Luigi U in mostly same role as the Wii iteration. In the main game, they first appear in Rock-Candy Mines.
