Frizz is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series. It is a weak fire-based spell that hits a single target. It first appeared in Dragon Quest III.

Mages have this spell at level 1. It hits one enemy with a fireball for about 11~15 points of fire-based damage, costing 2 MP. Its power increases with the user's magical might, capping out at about 98~102.
