Fire Mario

Fire Mario is a power-up in which Mario gains the ability to throw Fireballs in Mario series. To get this ability, Mario has to find a Fire Flower, and collect it. His clothes then turns white and red, and he then gains the ability to throw fireballs. He was first able to do this in the game Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Other appearances include Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He strangely has the ability to throw fireballs underwater.

In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, this outfit is referred to as Super Mario regardless of whether Mario can throw fireballs.
