Seth and Eirika dispatch of the soldiers, and run off in the direction of [[Frelia]]. They are, however, ambushed at the border city [[Mulan]], and are saved by [[Gilliam]] and [[Franz]]. In this town they rescue Princess [[Tana]] of Frelia, and they go to castle Frelia from there. At castle Frelia, they meet [[King Hayden]] who gives them gold and his vassals: Gilliam, [[Vanessa]], and [[Moulder]]. The group then decide to go to Grado to help Eirika's brother [[Ephraim]].
