Plot
Prolouge
The continent of Magvel was once a peaceful place. Then one day, The country of Grado invaded their long-time ally Renais. This is where our story begins.
The fall of Renais
The story opens at castle Renais as it is being breached by the soldiers of Grado. As soon as the soldiers breach the walls, King Fado orders Eirika to abandon him and the castle, and go to safety. Refusing to leave, Fado has his Paladin Seth take Eirika away. On the way out, they are cornered by Valter. He, however, is busy and orders O'Neill to kill the duo. Seth and Eirika dispatch of the soldiers, and run off in the direction of Frelia. They are, however, ambushed at the border city Mulan, and are saved by Gilliam and Franz. In this town they rescue Princess Tana of Frelia, and they go to castle Frelia from there. At castle Frelia, they meet King Hayden who gives them gold and his vassals: Gilliam, Vanessa, and Moulder. The group then decide to go to Grado to help Eirika's brother Ephraim. They soon help the village of Ide, which is being attacked by barbarians. It is there they meet the retired Fighter Garcia, and his son Ross, who join the group. Later that day, Eirika's Bracelet is stolen, and she travels to Bazba's Stronghold to get it back. It is there that she meets the Thief, Colm, and his friend Neimi the Archer. They join the group, and Colm gives Eirika her bracelet back. They kill Bazba, and escape in the direction of Za'ha Woods.
Meanwhile, at castle Grado, Grado's generals Selena, Duessel, and Glen are discussing the odd behavior of Grado's King Vigarde. They think it strange that Grado would suddenly attack Renais. Later that day, they are summoned by Vigarde, and he introduces them to three new generals that will aid them in the conquest of Magvel. They are: Wyvern Lord Valter, Bishop Riev, and Hero Caellach.
