The game was never announced outside of Japan, however a fan translation has been released by The Heroes of Shadow team. Due to Fire Emblem Awakening's release, it's uncertain that it will be released elsewhere. Also, unlike its predecessor, the game was not released on the Wii U Virtual Console, even in Japan.
Trivia[]
This is the first Fire Emblem game to feature Casual Mode and a customizable Avatar.
