Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (JP) is a Wii video game released by Square Enix in 2007 and 2008 for Japan and North America, respectively. As the name of the game implies, it stars a Chocobo as did its predecessor Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (note, however, that this is not a direct sequel to that Nintendo DS title). It also stars a character named Cid in typical Final Fantasy tradition. A DS port was released in October 2008 that incorporates a new storyline focused on Cid and new jobs. The game was remade for the Nintendo Switch as Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! by Rocket Studio.

Gameplay

The controls a Chocobo who will traverse a multitude of dungeons and fight in turn based battles. Unique to the video game are jobs for the Chocobo, of which there are ten in all. As always, the different jobs will not only change the abilities and stats of the character, though will also alter his appearance. Along with the main game, there are also mini games that can be played too.
