Final Destination is a particular stage depicted throughout the Super Smash Bros. series. It is the simplest stage, being one large flat platform floating in the middle of space.

A stage similar to Final Destination was seen in the original Super Smash Bros., during the final battle with the Master Hand in the 1-player mode, but it was never given an official name.

It wasn't until Super Smash Bros. Melee that the stage was given the name "Final Destination". While players did fight against the Master Hand (and sometimes the Crazy Hand) on it, it was now featured as a selectable stage. Many hardcore gamers choose to play on this stage, as it is the simplest stage and best for showing how skilled a gamer is with a particular character. However, at the same time it is the most demanding to obtain as well.

Final Destination appears again in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a starting stage, though this time, it is much smaller compared to the one in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Over time, the background will change, starting with a galaxy, moving into a wormhole, a starry sky, glint of light, swirling clouds and finally an ocean before starting over.

Final Destination appears once again in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. This time, the platform was designed with blue crystals on one side of the bottom of the platform, while the other side has red tendrils. The blue crystals and red tendrils could represent the legendary weapons Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, both from the Soul Calibur franchise. The background represents an outer space where the Sun and Planet Earth are getting too close to each other, and it also represents the clouds.

Final Destination reappeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The player fights Galeem and Dharkon in Adventure Mode: World of Light. Since 8.1.0, this, along with Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Small Battlefield would now contain all of the music from all of the universes that are represented in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
