FakeStar

Mario with a Fake Star.

Fake Stars or Gray Stars, are items in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. When reaching a Power Star which the player has gotten before, the power star will turn gray, or silver, as a way to mark that the star already was collected. Grand Stars will also turn gray when collected.
