Eyeshield 21: Field Saikyō no Senshi Tachi, translated as Eyeshield 21: The Field's Greatest Warriors in English, is a Nintendo published game released exclusively in Japan in March of 2007. The game is described by GameSpot as a "glimpse into how the Japanese view American football". It alters the rules, adds in Japanese styled Manga characters, and is overall one of the strangest football games ever released. The game stars Sena Kobayakawa, a small person who is great at playing American football.

Gameplay[]

The game is vastly different from the typical American football fare such as Madden NFL. It has a huge amount of Japanese influence over it, and is in a way similar to the Nintendo DS game that was released before this game. There's a new mode in the game which lets players play a quick match against one of the game's fictional teams. The game is mainly played using the Wii Remote and few buttons.
