Excitebike 64 is a video game in the Excite series that was released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Upon its release it was considered by many critics to be the most realistic motocross game ever released, and was highly acclaimed among critics. Although a part of a well known Nintendo franchise, the game has advertisements for many actual companies littered throughout the game.
Gameplay
The game should also be noted for its major difference from the original Excitebike. In contrast to the first game being a side-scroller, Excitebike 64 features a third-person perspective. The player can actually turn instead of being limited to lanes.
The game features an in game track editor so the player can make the tracks to race on as well.
