The Eryth Ansel is an enemy in Xenoblade Chronicles that is a member of the Ansel family. It can be found at level 36 on the Hovering Reefs 4, 5, 7, 9 of the Eryth Sea. Three must be defeated for the Alcamoth version of the "Monster Quest 1 - Part 2" quest. They are the only source of Dense Ansel Meat, three of which are needed for the "Reversed Tastes quest. They can also drop the Jagged Tails needed for Colony 6 reconstruction.
