Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is an action platformer game released on the Nintendo 3DS. It was developed by DreamRift and published by Disney Interactive Studios. The game was released alongside the console game Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. Despite this, the game is completely different from its console counterparts, being developed by a different studio, having a different gameplay style and taking place in an alternate timeline. It's heavily inspired by Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, a 1990 Mickey Mouse game for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

Gameplay[]

In addition to the player being able to use standard jumping and running, they can use the paint brush and thinner from the main games. The player can use the 3DS's touch screen to draw items to use. The better traced the item, the more effective it becomes and with poorly traced ones being able to potentially harm the user.
