The Embracer Group (formerly Nordic Games Licensing AB and THQ Nordic AB) is a holdings company for various media companies based in Sweden. It was established in 2011 as the parent to Nordic Games. After acquiring the rights to various THQ properties, it rebranded to THQ Nordic in 2016. To avoid confusion with THQ Nordic GmbH, the company rebranded in 2019 to Embracer Group.
