Electroplankton: Beatnes is a DSiWare video game released in 2009. It costs 200 Nintendo Points. Electroplankton: Beatnes is the same game as the Beatness mode in Electroplankton for the Nintendo DS. Virtually nothing has been changed, despite the omission of the nine other game modes (which were released separately on DSiWare).

NintendoLife, who gave the game a 6/10, stated that Beatnes might not be the best of the five Electroplankton titles but it's still got enough charm and personality to make it one fans of the series will want to try out. They stated that the NES chiptunes give the game a lot of nostalgic charm and that it's a fairly enjoyable experience, despite the repetitive nature.
