The Elecronic Entertainment Expo of 2006 (stylized as E3 2006) was twelth E3 show held. The Wii was announced and was the star of the show. Besides the Wii, Nintendo also announced the North American and Europeian release dates for the Nintendo DS Lite. Nintendo announced some games for the Wii and the Nintendo DS also.
