Electronic Arts is an American video game developer and publisher. It was founded by Trip Hawkins. They were very well known in the earlier days of video games for letting the public know about the people who made the games, something unusual for the time. They are best known for their hit titles such as the Madden NFL series, The Sims, the Medal of Honor series, the Command & Conquer series, the FIFA series, the Rock Band series, and various other titles.

On May 2013, EA announced that there will be no games in development for the Wii U.

They are currently one of the most successful game companies and have support for nearly every gaming console, including iOS and Android.
