Effect Spore(JP) is a Pokémon ability introduced in the third generation.
Description[]
When the ability holder is hit with a move that makes direct contact, the attacker has a 30% chance of sustaining a random status condition. There is a 9% chance of poison, 10% chance of paralysis and 11% chance of sleep.
In the sixth generation onwards, Grass Pokémon, Pokémon with Overcoat or Pokémon with Safety Goggles are immune to the effects of this ability.
