ESPN National Hockey Night is a sports game (specifically ice hockey) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1994. It was officially licensed by the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Players' Association (NHLPA) and featured all NHL teams and players.

The game even features the official theme music from the ESPN National Hockey Night sports show on television's ESPN.

The game was also released for Sega Genesis and Sega CD as well.

Plot[]

Gameplay[]

There are three game modes: Exhibition (in which only one game is played), Season (where players play through a full 82-game schedule) and Playoff (tournament-style play). All players have their own individual stats and strengths.

As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team.
