Dropzone is a scrolling space shoot 'em up game, developed by Arena Graphics. Originally an Atari 8-bit game, it was later ported for other consoles. The NES and Game Boy versions were released in 1992, while the Game Boy Color version in 1999.
The game takes place on Io, where a Human base is attacked by extraterrestrials. The player controls an astronaut in spacesuit equipped with jetpack, while firing a raygun.
