Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine(JP) (Dr. Robotnik and His Mean Bean Machine in Europe and Dr. Eggman's Puyo Puyo in the Japanese version of Sonic Mega Collection) is a video game originally released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and the Game Gear in 1993. The Genesis version was later released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2006, and the Game Gear version was released on the 3DS Virtual Console in 2013. The game is a reskin of the Mega Drive version of Compile's Puyo Puyo and uses the characters from the animated series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Gameplay[]
The game does not feature Sonic himself. The game is instead a puzzle game in the style of Puyo Puyo, with Robotnik (Eggman) as the main star.
