Doug Bowser is the fourth and current president of Nintendo of America, a position he has held since April 2019 when he succeeded Reggie Fils-Aimé.

Before Nintendo

He graduated from University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He then went to work for Procter & Gamble, then working at Electronic Arts where he worked since 2007. He worked as Vice President of Global Business Planning.

Nintendo

He joined Nintendo in May, 2015, as the Vice President of Sales, before later being promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2016.[1] During his time, he helped with the sales and marketing for the Nintendo Switch.

On February 21, 2019, it was announced that Bowser would be succeeding Reggie as the President and COO of Nintendo of America, with Reggie's final day being April 15, 2019. His old position was taken over by current (at the time) VP of marketing, Nick Chavez.[2]
