Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is the sequel to Deadly Premonition Origins released on the Switch by Rising Star Games in 2020. The game is about an investigation into the city of Le Carré by the first game's protagonist, Chad York Morgan, being reopened by Aaliyah Davis in Boston. The game was announced in September 2019 during a Nintendo Direct alongside the release of the first game on Switch.
Gameplay[]
The player controls one of the two protagonists investigating the town. The town is an open area which York navigates using a skateboard. The player talks to the various characters which opens up tasks after some dialogue. Completing these tasks moves along the plot. There are some sequences that act like a minigame such as York driving a Jet Ski.
