Dark Pit (JP) (sometimes known as Pittoo) is a major character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He was created by The Mirror of Truth when Pit steps in front of it to destroy it in Chapter 5: Pandora's Labyrinth of Deceit in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He originated from the black alternate costume for Pit from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Kid Icarus: Uprising - Idol Description (Dark Pit)
"A flawed clone of Pit created by the Mirror of Truth. He has most of Pit's strengths, and he can even fly with Pandora's powers. While he sees Pit as a rival, the two share a strange, inherent connection."
Super Smash Bros.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl he was a alternative costume for Pit. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, Dark Pit appears as a playable fighter. Functionally, he's a clone of Pit with a different Final Smash and different properties on his attacks.
Attacks
His attacks are pretty much the same as Pit but slower and more powerful. His specials are:
- Neutral Special: Silver Bow
- Side Special: Electroshock Arm
- Up Special: Power of Flight
- Down Special: Guardian Orbitals
- Final Smash: Dark Pit Staff
