Cute Charm(JP) is a Pokémon ability that was introduced in the third generation.
Description[]
If the ability holder is hit with an attack that makes contact, there is a 30% chance that the attacker will become infatuated. However, this is ineffective on Pokémon that are the same gender as the ability holder, Pokémon that are genderless, and Pokémon with the ability Oblivious.
Outside of Battle[]
If the ability holder is leading the party, the chances of encountering a Pokémon of the opposite gender of the ability holder is increased to 66.6%.
