The Cursed Bokoblin is an enemy in The Legend of Zelda series, they are deceased Bokoblins that are brough back to life through sheer hatred or due to Ganon's influence. They are often represented as rotting Bokoblin corpse or Bokoblin skulls possessed by Ganon's malice. Like the Stalkoblin they are undead Bokoblin but unlike them they are radiating with dark energy and can even curse Link in some games.
In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword they are depicted as a rotting zomie-like creature that will try to wrapthemselves around Link and bite him. If Link is biten, he will recieve a curse that prevent him from using his items for a short while. The Cursed Bokoblins are extremly durable in this game and take many hit to die. They are affraid of pure and shiny object which means that Link can make them back away by wielding a Sacred Shield. They appears in the Ancient Cistern, can be summoned by Koloktos and during the second Stalmaster fight. They have a chance of droping Evil Crystals.
"This horrifying Bokoblin reanimates after death. Analysis indicates it fears pure, shiny items and will startle at the sight of a sacred shield. It is able to reanimate purely through its hatred of this world...and its attachment to outlandish undergarments."
Breath of the Wild
In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild they are depicted as floating Bokoblin skulls filed with malice. Unlike their Skyward Sword version, the Breath of the Wild version is extremely weak and can be defeated in one hit but they are continually spawned from the mouthes, connected to the Glowing Eyeballs on the pockets of malice found in the Divine Beasts and in Hyrule Castle. They do not drop any materials.
Hyrule Compendium Entry
"The Malice has given these Bokoblin skulls a sort of life. Devoid of any intelligence the Bokoblin it once belonged to may have had, these pitiful things now exist only to attack anything that gets too close."
