Cult Jump is a quiz adventure game released for Game Boy featuring various Shonen Jump series. The player answers questions about the various Shonen Jump series to progress through JUMP Tower and save the King of Jump.
Gameplay[]
The player goes through the tower with the objective to reach the top floor. It plays like a role-playing game except all combat and puzzles are replaced with quiz questions with a timer for each question at the top of the screen. Each question also lists their series. The quizzes start easy with only two choices, but they turn harder and more obscure further in the tower. Later floors are longer with more challenges. Each stage gives the player 3 chances to choose the right answer before losing while the timer will deplete the regular hearts for each question if the player is too slow. At the end of each floor, a password will be listed.
Plot[]
The King of the JUMP world has been imprisoned in Jump Tower. Playing as a hero in a fantasy RPG setting, the player ventures through the tower facing enemies with their Jump trivia.
