Croagunk can be used as an assist in Pokkén Tournament. It uses Toxic to lower the opponent's defense. It is also a playable character in the arcade and Nintendo Switch versions of the game.
In the anime[]
In Gymbaliar!, Brock caught a Croagunk. He took over Misty and Max's job of pulling Brock away from attractive women during Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, using Poison Jab on him every time he falls in love.
In Pokémon Generations, Looker used a Croagunk to battle Heatran and two Team Galactic Grunts at Stark Mountain.
In the manga[]
Origin[]
Croagunk may have been based on the poison dart frog.
