Cosmo Gang the Puzzle is a falling block puzzle game that is a spinoff of Cosmo Gang the Video. The game was converted to a Pac-Man themed game, Pac-Attack, for global release. The original version was only released internationally in 2024, first as a part of Arcade Archives and then as a part of Nintendo Switch Online.
Gameplay[]
The game is a falling block puzzle game similar to Tetris and Puyo Puyo with a screen 6 tiles wide and gets faster with more lines completed. The goal is to align the blocks into rows to clear them. The aliens called Jammers cannot be cleared this way and instead must be defeated with the blue spheres. Dropping a blue sphere in a row will send it in the direction of the arrow, defeating any chain of Jammers in the path of sphere and filling the star meter based on how many defeated. A full star meter can eliminate all the Jammers on screen. The player receives the pieces in sets of 3 that can be rotated but, the blocks will follow the gravity and drop to the lowest available level.
