Colonel Austin is a character from Battalion Wars. He is a Colonel of the Western Frontier forces. Although he is one of the main characters in Battalion Wars, along with Brigadier Betty and General Herman, he does not appear in the sequel, Battalion Wars 2. It is implied that he gets married to Major Nelly between the events of the games.

- Austin was originally a Caucasian man who smoked a pipe. This was changed in the final game.
