Cloud 9 is a kart part in Mario Kart 7. It is the signature kart for Lakitu, but it can also be used by any other character in the game. It has the highest handling, tied with Birthday Girl and Clown Car, and the lowest speed, tied with Tiny Tug and Birthday Girl. Overall, it has the highest stat total in the game. In hidden stats, it has the highest sea performance along with Tiny Tug.

Description

Cloud 9 is a large, cloud-like kart. It resembles cumulus cloud similar to the cloud Lakitu rides. At the front, the cloud is seen smiling with his slender, black mouth. At the back, there is yellow stick-like, pipe-rockets. The chair and wheel are black as well.

The Cloud 9 makes a cameo appearance as a trophy in the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U, driven by Lakitu.

This cloud kart is basically the bottom half of Lakitu. With its fluffy design and zippy style, Cloud 9 seems like a good match for Yoshi, but can you imagine what it would look like for Wario to drive this? It might just be distracting enough to give you an advantage!
