Classic NES Series: Xevious is a Game Boy Advance port of Namco's Nintendo Entertainment System game Xevious. There were no enhancements made to the game other than portability. This was the first and only time the game was released on the Game Boy Advance, though on the GameCube it was available as an unlockable in the Namco developed, Nintendo published game Star Fox Assault.
Reception[]
Some critics were incredibly pleased with the game, while others hardly felt the same way. Nintendo Power stated that the gameplay "offers little variety", while GameSpot said that the NES version of the game is not as classic as the arcade version. IGN said that the auto-fire takes away from the game's challenge, and implores that you don't use it when playing the game.
