Chris Meledandri is a film producer and the CEO of Illumination Entertainment. Along with Shigeru Miyamoto, he acted as producer of The Super Mario Bros. Movie since the movie started production around 2018.
On 2021, Meledandri joined Nintendo's board of directors as an Outside Director, in order to help the company expand further into the film industry.[1]
