Chip is a beaver from the Animal Crossing series. He first appeared in Animal Crossing during the Fishing Tourney where he would reward the player who caught the biggest bass. Tortimer took his place in the Nintendo DS game Animal Crossing: Wild World, though in Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii he made his triumphant return with a slightly new appearance.
