Cats are a species featured in the Animal Crossing series. Cats are somewhat the face of Animal Crossing as they are the most well-known species in Animal Crossing, many villagers such as Raymond, Bob, and Rosie are popular examples of why they are. Animal Crossing also has a total of 4 special Cat characters. Below is a list of cats featured in the series.

Ankha	A Snooty personality cat, she is yellow and has blue hair and other stripes. she is well known for being one of the most popular villagers in current Animal Crossing history, Her design is loosely based on Cleopatra.
Bob	A Lazy personality cat, he is lavender with violet spots. He has yellow eyes that are halfway opened. He is well known for being one of the most popular villagers in current and past Animal Crossing history, he also plays an important role as the first villager ever created in Animal Crossing history.
Felicity	A Peppy personality cat, she is pale ivory and has light brown colored hair. her design is somewhat similar to a human female villager that the player plays as, her skin color and eyes and even mouth shape are similar to them.
Felyne	A Lazy personality cat, he is a light brown cat with some dark brown spots, his eyes are strangely big. He is a rare villager to obtain and was only featured in one main series game, and Happy Home Designer.
Kabuki	A Cranky personality cat, he is white with painted red stripes, and yellow eyes. His design is based on a kabuki.
Katt	A Sisterly personality cat, she is dark brown and has some light brown stripes around her head.
Kid Cat	A Jock personality cat, he is white, however his design is covered up by his red helmet.
Kiki	A Normal personality cat, she is a black cat with large yellow round eyes.
Kitty	A Snooty personality cat, she is a light brown cat, she also has dark brown stripes and white on her mouth area. she wears pink eye makeup.
Lolly	A Normal personality cat, she is baby blue with grey stripes, and white on her mouth area, she has dotted curved eyes looking left.
Meow	A Peppy personality cat, she is a pink robot cat with a screen. she has a cat face projected on it.
Merry	A Peppy personality cat, she is a pale ivory cat, she has light brown colored hair. She also has a visible double chin.
Mitzi	A Normal personality cat, she is pale white with blue ended colored ears, and limb tips. Her design is similar to a Siamese cat.
Moe	A Lazy personality cat, he is blue with a light blue stripe on the left side of his head, he also has white on his mouth area, he has big yellow eyes and has a visible nose.
Monique	A Snooty personality cat, she is a pale ivory cat with blonde hair, she wears violet eye makeup and lipstick. She also has a visible mole.
Olivia	A Snooty personality cat, she is white with red velvet ears and same colored limb tips. She has yellow eyes similar to Bob's.
Pierre	A Jock personality cat, he is white with clown makeup and blonde hair, he is stuck looking to the right.
Punchy	A Lazy personality cat, he is black and white, with halfway opened yellow eyes.
Purrl	A Snooty personality cat, she is white with light and dark brown spots, they are the same exact spots as Bob's but mirrored. She is also stuck looking to her top left.
Raymond	A Smug personality cat, he is grey with glasses, he is often referred to as a "Business cat". He also has two different eye colors. He is known for being one of the most popular villagers in current Animal Crossing history.
Rosie	A Peppy personality cat, she is light blue with blue hair. She is stuck looking to her left and has visibly rosy cheeks. She is a somewhat popular villager, however this is due to Nintendo using her for many of Animal Crossing promotions, merch, and even being included as a movie character.
Rudy	A Jack personality cat, he is red velvet with white around his face, he has yellow eyes and a big smile. His nose is colored red possibly to reference Rudolph The Red Nosed-Reindeer, a popular christmas character with a shiny red nose.
Stinky	A Jack personality cat, he is pale green with very thin eyes, he is wear a red and blue wrestler mask making him look like a athlete.
Tabby	A Peppy personality cat, she is orange with black stripes, she wears violet eye makeup and has visibly rosy cheeks. Her design is based on the breed with her same name.
Tangy	A Peppy personality cat, she is orange and has a green leaf which can be assumed to be either a hat or her actual hair. Her appearance takes that of a tangerine.
Tom	A Cranky personality cat, he is Blue with white around his mouth area, he has yellow eyes and they are stuck looking to the right.
