Captain Toad is Toad's alter-ego and the leader of the Toad Brigade. While he only took a supporting role in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, he became a playable character in Super Mario 3D World and the main protagonist with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Appearance
Captain Toad dons a headlight on his head and has the outfit of an explorer. He carries a large, heavy backpack that makes him lose his ability to jump.
