Captain Toad is the leader of the Toad Brigade. While he only took a supporting role in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, he has become a playable character with Super Mario 3D World and the protagonist with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Appearance
He has progressed from being just a Red Toad to gaining quite a bit of personality. He now dons a Headlight on his head. His outfit is of an explorer and he has a red bandana. He carries a large, heavy backpack that limits his ability to jump too.
