The Calico Cat is a colored cat species which is like the other cats in Bowser's Fury. They behave very similarly, but are the only ones that don't have a character color counterpart. They are hidden across a few islands, and Mario must bring each one back to the parent cat. In doing so, the player is rewarded a few coins for each one, and a Cat Shine if all are found. The number to be found varies by location, ranging from 1 to 5.
Just like other cats, they are friendly in the day cycle and dark enemies at the Fury Bowser cycle, where even the parent becomes dark, too.
Trivia[]
- They are the only color variant to have a parent.
- They are thought to have used colors similar to Princess Daisy. This led to rumors and speculation on whether she will appear in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury upon release or in a later update.[1]
