Buta Medal (literally Pig Medal) was a Japan-exclusive game for the Wii U. The game was released as part of a promotion with Suica, a smart card company. In the game, the player uses "pig medals" to complete levels by flinging the medals into the various goals. The player starts with 30 pig medals, but once they run out, there are two ways to earn more. Pig medals can be won via a slot machine game, and they can also be purchased by NFC cards. 100 Yen would get the player 30 pig medals. The game was only active from July 22, 2014, to August 31 of the same year.
