The Bridge of Eldin is an area featured in the Wii and GameCube video game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. In the video game, it is a way to get across the large canyon that separates the eastern part of Hyrule from the area across from it that features Zora's River, the Hidden Village, and so on.
The most notable part of this bridge is the epic boss battle against the King Bulbin where Link and Epona (his trusty steed) will gallop from one end of the bridge to the other, while the colossal Bulbin and his large boar will charge from the opposing side. Once he comes up to the Bulbin, he'd slash him with his sword, eventually making him fall of his boar and fall down into the canyon, thus killing him.
After this fight, the bridge is removed and taken to the Gerudo Mesa by Zant and his beasts, which prevents Link from crossing it. However, later on, with the help of Midna, he'd be able to transport it back to where it was, thus giving you access to that area once more.
It should also be noted that when Zant transported the bridge over the the Gerudo Mesa, he was covering up the Cave of Ordeals. Once Link would remove the bridge, he would then be given access to the area.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The area is also features as a stage in the Wii video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The stage is probably the flattest stage in the game, and for a while the stage where barely any thing goes on - that is until the King Bulbin from Twilight Princess enters the fray attacking everyone and dropping bombs on the bridge, thus destroying it. Later on the bridge will be repaired, though it can be conclusive that the malevolent creature will return and perform the same attack once again.
Your characters will have to jump over the gaps once part of the bridge have been destroyed, or he or she will die.
