Pokémon Legends: Arceus: Hisuian Braviary is a supporting character in the game. It is one of the Ride Pokémon, a descendant of the Braviary that the Ancient hero befriended ages ago. It was beloved by the people of the Hisui region along with the other Ride and Noble Pokémon.
Origin[]
Because the setting of Pokémon Black and White, Unova, is based on the New York metropolitan area, the game designers considered how they could incorporate this setting — and more broadly, of America — into their designs. Braviary is based on the bald eagle, which is the national bird of the United States.
Hisuian Braviary appears to be based on the Steller's sea eagle, with its size, plumage, and southward migratory route to Hokkaido (the real-life basis for the Hisui region).
Screaming a bloodcurdling battle cry, this huge and ferocious bird Pokémon goes out on the hunt. It blasts lakes with shock waves, then scoops up any prey that float to the water's surface. (Hisuian)
